The 2nd Annual Bulldog Dash is scheduled for Sunday, October 14th.  The Bulldog Dash is a major fundraising event consisting of the following: 5K run/walk, 1-mile fun run/walk, live music, and lots of fun! Last year’s Bulldog Dash raised over $12,000 that was used to enhance the playgrounds at Greenwood and Green Primary. This year’s funds will be used to replace aging technology in the Greenwood and Green Primary classrooms.

We are encouraging each child to take a vow to get and stay active and to collect pledges from family and friends to support their choice. Although pledges are not required to participate in the dash, our goal is for each student to collect a minimum of $50 in pledges.

Each student will earn one ticket for every $10 in pledges they collect to support their vow. The tickets will be placed into a drawing for fun, exciting prizes, such as a new bike, circus tickets, electronics and much more!! The drawing for prizes will be held on race day; however, winners need not be present to win.

·         All students participating and registered for the run/walk prior to September 21st will receive a t-shirt.

·         For $10 collected in pledges, the student will earn 1 ticket for prize drawings AND free registration for the student in the 1-mile fun run.

·         For $20 collected in pledges, the student will earn 2 tickets for prize drawings AND free registration for the student in the 5K run.

·         Once a student reaches $100 in pledges, they will also be entered into a special drawing for a private party (in a suite!) for 12 people at the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus, taking place at Quicken Loans Arena in October!

Of course, we hope students and families will also choose to come and participate in the run/walk on October 14th. This is a great opportunity to support your school, get active, and enjoy some family fun.
